We installed a custom steel cable system along the deck's edge that holds the required load rating while keeping the horizon uninterrupted.

Because the site sits on a slope, the railing also had to handle a change in grade and multiple post heights without looking pieced-together — every run was fabricated to match the specific geometry of this deck rather than dropped in from a stock kit.
