Castro Valley Veterans Memorial

Right in our home town, the Castro Valley Veterans Memorial called for a railing that could do two things at once: meet code for public safety around raised walkways and seating areas, and hold up to its dignity as a civic monument. We fabricated and installed a stainless steel commercial railing system engineered for decades of outdoor public use with minimal upkeep for the community that maintains it.

Because it's a memorial rather than a private residence, sightlines mattered just as much here as they do on a hillside deck — visitors needed clear views across the grounds, not a fence of pickets breaking up the space. Cable rail's thin profile kept the site open and respectful while still providing a sturdy, code-compliant guard where the grade changes.
